A celebration of black art

Join us as we take our annual Black History Month celebration to the Black Cultural Archives!

In a conversation led by Lisa Anderson, Interim Managing Director of the BCA, we will hear from Laurence M. White, an emerging British contemporary artist. We’ll learn more about his journey, what it takes to establish yourself in the art world and how we can support, nurture and cultivate Black British art and artists.

The London (UK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated supports women and youth from disadvantaged communities via mentoring, career, and life skills development - preparing them to be future contributors to society.

Inviting women of African and Caribbean descent to participate in the Transit Forward programme presented by the London (UK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and Dress for Success Greater London.

This free programme will provide dedicated mentorship by black women from a variety of professional backgrounds and experiences. Each session will be focused on supporting the participants with valuable skills and confidence-building career attire to succeed on their employment journey.Applications are due 31st March 2022

Applicant Eligibility: Women 18-24 of African & Caribbean descent

For the Love of Art & Jazz

As part of its annual celebration of Black History Month and the rich culture of the African diaspora, The London (UK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated would like you to join us for an art and jazz experience featuring: a gallery tour with Ayo Adeyinka, Founder of the TAFETA gallery in central London; interview with Victor Ekpuk a Visual Artist from Nigeria; as well as mouth-watering presentations from Chef Ashley James, and more.

Sister to Sister, psssttt… come in closer, let’s talk! 

The London (UK) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated would like you to join us for a candid conversation with Madeline McQueen, acclaimed speaker, host and executive coach. This uplifting session is specifically dedicated to helping Black women prepare to seize the opportunities that exist amidst a sea of change and challenge. No matter your current stage of life, this session will help you clarify your inner desires, leaving you poised for action while keeping your well-being at the center. Come prepared for real talk and open exchange, mixed with a hearty dose of laughter!

Minimum donation for entry is £20.20.* Proceeds from this event will support the London (UK) Chapter, of The Links, Incorporated as it delivers services for black youth and women from disadvantaged communities through its LEAP programmes.
